What tours does Sardinia Sailing Tour organize?

We organize day trips by catamaran and sailboat between La Maddalena Archipelago, Corsica, Lavezzi, Tavolara and Molara. Both shared tours and private, exclusive experiences are available.

Do you go hiking in the Gulf of Orosei?

No, our itineraries focus on North Sardinia, La Maddalena Archipelago, Corsica, Tavolara and Molara. Currently we do not organize tours in the Gulf of Orosei.  

What is the difference between catamaran and sailboat?

Catamarans offer more space, stability and comfort on board. Sailboats, on the other hand, have a more sporty and dynamic style, ideal for those who enjoy sailing.

How many people are on board during the tours?

Our shared tours have a maximum of 12 guests per boat, so as to ensure comfort and space throughout the experience.

Is it possible to book a boat exclusively?

Yes, you can reserve the whole boat in private or exclusive mode, even for several days with overnight stay on board.

Do you organize overnight cruises?

Yes, we organize multi-day and weekly cruises between Sardinia and Corsica with the possibility of overnight stay on board.

What is included in the tour?

Tours include:

  • skipper and crew
  • fuel
  • aperitif and lunch on board
  • water, wine, beer and coffee
  • snorkeling equipment
  • insurance
  • Dinghy to reach the coves 
Is it possible to snorkel during the tour?

Yes, all our excursions include swimming and snorkeling stops. Equipment is provided on board. 

Is it possible to go down to the beach?

It depends on weather conditions, crowding, and Port Authority regulations. In some situations it will be possible to reach the coves by tender.

How many stops are planned during the day?

Normally 2 or 3 stops are made between beaches, coves and snorkeling spots. The itinerary may change depending on weather and skipper's decisions.

Are the tours suitable for children?

Yes, normally all tours are also suitable for children. In case of special weather conditions, our staff will provide all necessary directions.

Do you have life jackets for children?

Yes, all boats have life jackets for adults and children.

Are tours suitable during pregnancy?

With favorable sea and weather conditions there are no particular problems. For more stability and comfort we recommend catamaran trips.

Can I bring my dog on board?

No, pets are not allowed on board because of environmental regulations in Magdalena Park.

What happens in case of bad weather?

If weather conditions do not allow a safe exit, the tour will be rescheduled or refunded according to the cancellation policy. The final decision always rests with the captain.

By when can I cancel the reservation?

Free cancellation is provided:

  • Up to 3 days in advance for shared tours
  • up to 7 days in advance for private tours 
How can I book a tour?

You can book directly online by choosing:

  • itinerary
  • port of departure
  • date
  • boat

After payment you will receive voucher and booking confirmation. 

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay online by credit card or by payment link sent by our booking office.

Is it possible to pay a portion on board?

Yes, in some cases it is possible to make an advance payment and settle later on the boat.

Do you have vegetarian or fish-free options?

Yes, vegetarian or no-fish options can be requested during reservation.

Are the routes always the same?

No, the captain can change itinerary and stops according to weather and sea conditions and the safety of navigation.

Do you do half-day tours?

No, we normally only organize full day tours. The only exception is the Sunset Tour at sunset.

What time do the tours come back?

Generally, return to port is expected in the late afternoon, around 17:00 / 17:30, depending on the itinerary and sea conditions.

Can I see pictures of the boats?

Yes, full photo galleries of the boats and interiors are available on the Sardinia Sailing Tour website.
